The Communications Regulatory Authority's quarterly report for spring 2026 (21 March to 21 June) puts Iran's active mobile subscriptions above 174 million, up 6.2% year on year, taking mobile penetration past 200% for the first time. Hamrah-e Aval (MCI) leads with 94.79 million active subscribers (54%), followed by Irancell with 73.41 million (42%) and Rightel with 6.16 million (4%).
