Hezardastan moves to divest Balad; the group site now lists only Divar, Karnameh and Sotoon

Zoomit reported in April 2025 that Hezardastan intends to hand over Balad, its mapping unit, and co-founder Hesam Armandehi wrote on LinkedIn that the board was reviewing ownership-transfer proposals, citing more than 10 million monthly active users. As of this week the group's own site lists only Divar, Karnameh and Sotoon, with Balad gone, following Cafe Bazaar's sale to the Tapsell group in January 2025.
