Azki's annual report for the year to 20 March 2026 records more than 715,000 new users. It says 54 percent of all insurance purchases on the platform were completed in instalments, rising to 72 percent among users who previously held no insurance, and that users viewed the comparison page an average of more than 4.5 times before buying. Iran's total written insurance premium grew 77.5 percent to 778.7 trillion toman, about $4.4B at ~178,000 toman/$, the late-2025 rate on record for figures from that year. Online marketplaces accounted for about 3.6 percent of national written premium in 2024-25, against an estimated potential of 12 percent of the market.
