Snapp and Tapsi fare hikes caused dissatisfaction among both passengers and drivers
Datak analysis of more than 150,000 social-media posts shows the sudden fare increases by Snapp and Tapsi in late Khordad 1405 (mid-June 2026) left both passengers and drivers dissatisfied rather than rebalancing the market. Drivers' negative sentiment rose from 81% before the increase to 85% after it, while their positive sentiment fell from 12% to 2%.
