Flightio attributed the suspension to force majeure rather than management failure, citing four causes: the twelve-day war and airspace closure halting travel for close to forty days, internet disruption preventing refunds and contact with foreign airlines, government support that was promised and never delivered, and hostile media campaigns by competitors and former stakeholders. It undertook to return with stricter standards and to make users whole.
